Brandi Anderson is a great 8th class student at Warner Christian Academy in South Daytona Beach, Florida, and was the victor of the AMVETS Post 911's " What Freedom Way to Me” Essay Contest. Brandi and her family were guests of Freedom Cha?non at the Hannity Freedom Live concert in Orlando, Florida, that kicks off in august 2010. Brandi's father, Navy Petty Officer 2nd Course Mike Anderson, was wiped out by enemy fire whilst serving in Iraq in 2004. Her father was the inspiration in back of the dissertation, and with Brandi's agreement, we would like to share it with you beneath. ********
WHAT IT MEANS IN MY OPINION

Free-dom (free-dem) and. 1 . The state or top quality of being cost-free; a) exemption or freedom from the power over some other person or arbitrary power; liberty; independence b) having the ability to act, maneuver, use and so forth without hindrance or restraining, confinement or repression. Independence. What a fabulous word. A great gift endowed after us. Our birthright while an American citizen. Freedom includes a very unique meaning to my opinion. I know what the price of freedom is definitely. It does not arrive without a very high cost. Every person, woman, and child whom lies their very own head straight down each night in peace, will so mainly because some other American, at some time, layed down their very own life to them. I know this because I actually lost my father in War on May 2nd, 2004. He was a Navy blue Seabee sent there to aid rebuild a country. He was killed, along with six of his many other comrades once their camp was mortared. I will always remember the day which the Naval Key and Chaplain showed up inside my front door. I used to be only eight at the time nevertheless the words about to be uttered would modify my life permanently. The chief saluted my mom and myself, " The United States of America misgivings to inform you…” My mom began to cry. I knew something incredibly bad got happened. I had been right.
